Unstrung - Handhelds - Moto Ditches Symbian for Android & Windows - Wireless News AnalysisMotorola is dumping Symbian UIQ and it's own Linux-Java platform. It will now only use Windows Mobile and Android for high end phones.
Motorola is also cutting down on the chip sets it uses, concentrating on Qualcomm and Texas Instruments.
